Many of the weddings Mike photographs are in the Southwest Florida area. He takes advantage of the beautiful settings along the Caloosahatchee River and Gulf of Mexico beaches. Captiva, Sanibel, the Sanibel Causeway, Fort Myers Beach, Lover's Key and Naples Beach have provided some amazing settings for photography. Many of the receptions are held at wonderful venues in Fort Myers and Cape Coral.

Mike is at many of the events that make Southwest Florida unique. He has photographed such things as Arts for ACT, Art Royale, spring training baseball of the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins, The Edison Festival of Light Parade to a groundbreaking for a community center in Harlem Heights. He has also been with his camera on the sidelines of many Miami Dolphin and Tampa Bay Buc games.
